  • Writing Business Correspondence workshop

      - This workshop can help you communicate more effectively in writing. The course covers the revision of the most useful types of writing from a lawyer’s perspective. You practise writing emails, formal letters, memos, case summaries, legal opinions and reports. You also learn how to proofread your documents.

  • Business Conversational Skills workshop

      - This workshop can help you develop your competence in clear speaking. You can revise and learn how to make effective presentations, participate and run meetings, take part in negotiations, make telephone calls and handle social contacts at work.

  • Business Grammar Refresher workshop

      - If you need intensive revision of the most useful grammar areas, this workshop has been designed for you. Build up your confidence when using tenses in English, the articles (a/the), prepositional phrases and modal verbs correctly.

  • British Pronunciation workshop

      - If you want to become a more fluent speaker of English, you can enrol on an intensive pronunciation course. You will have more practice in proper intonation patterns, how to stress words correctly and how to sound more professional.

Drafting and Translating Contracts workshop

If you need to improve your knowledge of contractual phrases and fixed expressions, you are welcome to participate in our workshop:

  • six hour course, divided into three sessions
  • small groups – around eight lawyers per group
  • held in our training centre or on client premises
  • aimed at advanced learners of English
  • ideal for lawyers drafting or revising agreements.

  • Modern contract wording (plain English v legalese, sentence structure, modal verbs usage)
  • Standard phrases, fixed expressions and boilerplate clauses.
